Memories of Phillack

My grandmother was born at Phillack near to Lands End on the rugged Cornish coast which is a supremly beautifull area. I sat for hours trying to work out how the colours graduated into each other as the sun set and a lot more hours trying to mix the glasspowder colours to make this image. The glass is 19 x 26 x 3.5 cm and is mounted on a white board, which can be cut to suit your wall size. The backing glass is irridescant, so that when the light hits it, there is a glow of many coulours to give an illusion of water.
