Goathland Moors in August

This piece was totally unusual, I came back to my workshop after a wonderfull day on the moors and experimented with the idea of a hazy image of the moors cloaked in heather, and was elated when I opened the kiln and saw that the piece needed no further work, and it was how I had envisioned it. A one off!!!
The glass is 30 cm diameter and the metal stand is created steel and is 18 cm high to the glass and 14 cm from the base of the glass to the top.
